Musicians Wanted

Below is list of potential opportunities for developing musicians.  Ensemble lineups shift frequently.  If you don't see something that sounds like a good fit, give me a call (503-522-9191) as there may be some additional opportunities.  For information about tuition, policies, and course structure, please visit the ensembles page.


The Holographics seek Keyboardist

 

The Holographics are currently seeking a keyboardist.  Ages of the current band members are 12 through 15.  This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who has taken piano lessons but has perhaps never played in a band before.  The keyboard parts could also be made more challenging for a more experienced keyboard player. 

Past material has included music by The White Stripes, Prince, and Sleep.  We will likely play “Money” by Pink Floyd, as well as other progressive rock, blues and jazz material.

"Fancy New Band" Seeks Guitarist, Singer, and Keyboardist

Embark on an exciting new journey with an awesome rhythm section.  Our newest band could be just the opportunity that you've been waiting for...  Current lineup includes experienced teenage bass player and drummer.  The group will rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm.


The Strollers seek drummer and keyboard player

The Strollers, Currently ages 30+, seek drummer and keyboardist.  The band has been performing original rock/blues material and will likely play some music by The Beatles, Robert Cray, and more.  (Upcoming material: “Forecast Calls for Pain” Robert Cray, “Come Together” by the Beatles as well as some jazz standards.

 


The Sweatshirts seek keyboardist.

The Sweatshirts seek keyboardist Ages.  The current musicians are ages 13 through 17.  The band has recently celebrated their one year anniversary.   

Past material has included music by The Who, Ozzie Osborne, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, & John Fogarty.  (Upcoming Material includes "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin, “Pipeline” by The Ventures,
